nRange Golf GPS App Reviews

Ive used nRange for a couple of years and this is their best upgrade yet. Still very fast but now more intuitive than ever before. Especially like being able to see the outline of the green and the full hole map at the same time. Havent found any other app that has both views.

This new version is feature rich with same stats, charts and graphs as GolfShot, but free. This is the best free gps golf app on the iPhone. Course database is one of the largest and they have always added international courses for me when I travel. No hassle support.

I love these app had it on my Blackberry for years. Just switched over to iPhone and played 2 rounds with it. Great functionality, but by the end of the round I have 20% battery. I could play 36 with my BB an still have half battery left.

Missing several courses in my area and GPS distances are frequently inaccurate

V2.2 shuts down mid-round when inserting score. All data lost. Switching to a different product until this problem is fixed.

I have used this app for several years on my Blackberry and it worked great. I purchased it again for my IPhone, and you cannot add a score! When you try to enter a score, it brings up a enter your name screen - with no keyboard! I have tried multiple times to contact NRange with no response. Extremely disappointed!!!

This app was great 5 years ago on my Bberry and I have used it on the iPhone for 4+ years but I have finally removed it. App closes and when I reopen it all previous entries from my round are deleted which renders it useless as a scoring tool. Too bad.

Works great if all you want is a range finder. Unable to enter your name to access the scorecard. Customer Support has been totally unresponsive!!!!

I started using this app on blackberry years ago, no support for app any more and crashes Time for a new app

Great display and accurate, easy to find yardage to hazards and greens.

This app is the best. Been using it for two years----and can see no reason to change.

Use to really enjoy this app but it no longer works well on latest IOS. Initially had GPS connection issue which was fixed in latest update but now the app frequently crashes. Need to restart app after every hole and sometimes in the middle of a hole which only adds to the frustration of a bad day.

Awesome app! As a bogie golfer I need every advantage possible. Very helpful when playing a new course and extremely accurate. When I had an issue the help/support reacted quickly to resolve my problem.

In order to get distances on Apple Watch, the iPhone must be on. The app must be active and the phone on; the screen has to actually be on. That means either keeping your phone on for the entire round or turning it on every shot before looking for your distance on your watch. Pretty useless.

Great app. Been using it for years. I have seen other golfers with expensive GPS devices, this app does everything their devices can do. Also great support from the nRange team! Great job!!

Half the courses I play either have wrong or missing information...

Works fine on the phone but not a viable program at this time for the Apple watch. I agree with TomABone above.
